FT. MYERS, Fla. - The Owls tennis teams continued their quest for their first Atlantic Sun wins today at Florida Gulf Coast University, with both teams falling by identical 5-2 scores.  Both teams dropped the doubles points, then were handed 4 losses out of the 6 singles matches played in each match.

The bright spots for the day for the Owls were victories by Vera Shkundina and Agatha Palider for the women, and wins by freshmen Gianni Kubin and Gokalp Ozdemir for the men.  The men also picked up a victory at No. 3 doubles, as Ozdemir and sophomore Justin Suesserman downed their FGCU opponents, 9-8(4).

The Owls will travel to Florida Atlantic University to finish off their Spring Break swing.  Match time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
