CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Junior Angie Smith scored 12 points as the Kennesaw State women's basketball team fell to Miami, 93-39, on Friday afternoon at the BankUnited Center.

The Lady Owls (0-1) fell behind, 13-0, before Angie Smith got KSU on the board for the first time with a field goal just under four minutes into the contest.  KSU trailed, 47-19, after the first 20 minutes as the Hurricanes took advantage of 20 KSU turnovers to the tune of 20 points.
