KENNESAW, Ga. - For the first time in nearly three weeks, the Kennesaw State women's basketball team will play a home game as the Lady Owls play host to East Tennessee State in an Atlantic Sun Conference game Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. The game time has been moved from its original start time of 5 p.m.
The Lady Owls (4-9, 1-2) have lost five straight contests, with their last win coming at home against Lipscomb Dec. 5. Angie Smith leads the Lady Owls in scoring, averaging 12.8 points per game. The sophomore has scored in double-figures in 10 of KSU's 13 games this season.
ETSU (4-7, 2-1) has gone 3-1 against opponents that are also on KSU's schedule. The Lady Bucs earned an 85-61 win in their season opener against Chattanooga. ETSU also defeated North Florida and Jacksonville at home, while losing 104-65 at North Carolina. KSU went 0-4 against those same teams, but all four of the contests came on the road. Three of ETSU's four wins have come at home, with the only road win coming at Hawaii in overtime, 94-83.
Senior TaRonda Wiles leads ETSU and the A-Sun in scoring, averaging 21.4 points per game.

Following Thursday's game, the Lady Owls will next be in action on Saturday when Campbell visits the KSU Convocation Center to wrap up a two-game homestand for KSU. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
