"I am so proud of the team's finish today, to place 5th in this field is such a great achievement," Head Coach Rhyll Brinsmead said. "Shooting 12-over 296 on a very wet course is a testament to the talent on the roster. Patty's 1 under par 70 was a really great round, the entire roster made clutch putts down the stretch and we were able to move up the leaderboard."
The Owls will return to action when they make the short drive to Macon, Ga., to compete in the Eat-A-Peach Invitational hosted by Mercer on October 4-5.
