KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State's women's basketball team will play the third game of a four-game homestand this Saturday afternoon when it takes on North Florida in an Atlantic Sun Conference game. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the KSU Convocation Center.
Both the Lady Owls and UNF are coming off of tough losses Thursday night. At the KSU Convocation Center, the Lady Owls dropped a 69-64 decision to Jacksonville. Meanwhile in Macon, Ga., the Ospreys fell to the host Mercer, 65-61.
Saturday's game is a rematch of a 60-50 win for Kennesaw State on December 8 in Jacksonville, Fla. The Lady Owls led 39-35 at the half, then used 16 second-chance points to build up the margin of victory. Greteya Kelley led the Lady Owls in scoring that night with 16 points.
While she is averaging 11.4 points per game for all contests, Kelley is leading the Lady Owls in scoring against A-Sun foes with 12.2 points per game. She also has 35 steals in A-Sun contests, including eight against Campbell last Saturday.
Fans who attend the game are encouraged to wear pink in support of KSU's efforts towards Breast Cancer Awareness.
The Lady Owls will wrap up the homestand on Monday afternoon against Mercer.
