The Owls made it through nearly two rounds of golf at the Hawkeye Invitational hosted by the University of Iowa in Iowa City on Saturday Oct. 17, before round two was halted due to darkness.
Currently the Owls are sitting in fifth place after shooting 313 in the first round, trailing the University of Iowa, Missouri State, Iowa State, and the University of Illinois, who is leading the tournament after a first round 307.
Patricia Arana and Ket Preamchuen are leading the Owls, both shooting a first round 77, followed by Abby Fitzgerald (78). Jordan Lazenby (81), and Ashley Aguilera (84).
The second round will resume tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 18 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start, with the third and final round to follow.
