Final Stats
LAWRENCE, Kansas - The Kennesaw State Women's Golf team couldn't post a second-straight top 10 finish at a major conference event after falling down the leader board Tuesday at the University of Kansas' Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational.
The Owls, who finished sixth at the season-opening Wolverine Invitational, turned in a final round 333 to finish in 16th place at the 6,242-yard, par-72 Alvamar Golf Club. Kennesaw State finished with a three-round total of 994 in an uncharacteristic performance.
Jordan Lazenby turned in the Owls best score of the final round, improving over her Monday scores with an 81 on Tuesday. Laura Lindsey turned in the Owls top individual finish after coming in tied for 43rd at 244.
The Owls will return to Big 10 country in just four days to compete in the University of Wisconsin's Badger Invitational on September 27th and 28th.
