KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's golf team earned their second consecutive top five finish Tuesday after the second and final round of the Fighting Camel Spring Classic was cancelled due to rain. The Owls finished fourth, as the teams were ranked by their 18-hole score.

The Owls (321) only trailed third place Memphis (316) by five strokes and second place Elon (315) by six before Tuesday's action was called off due to the conditions. Campbell, the tournament's host, took the team title after posting a 301 in the opening round.

Chelsea Bonk led KSU individually, posting a 77 to finish in a tie for sixth. She finished just three strokes off of the lead shared by a trio of golfers at 74.

Kennesaw State will look to keep the momentum going as they head to Mobile, Ala. for the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational on March 3rd and 4th. It will be their last event before hosting the Inaugural Larry Nelson Invitational on March 31st and April 1st at Chateau Élan.
