CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - It was another solid outing for the Kennesaw State women's indoor track team over the weekend as the Owls participated in the 2007 UNC-Chapel Hill Carolina Invitational.
In the 13 events in which Kennesaw State participated, the Owls had three athletes post top 10 performances in two events.
Britany Reilly posted the best finish of the afternoon for Kennesaw State, finishing third in the 5000 Meter Run. With a time of 18:53.64, Reilly finished behind Annmae Flynn of Elon and Karen Corson of Charleston. Tara Mooney finished ninth in the event with a time of 19:30.30.
The Owls had their third top 10 performance of the day in the in the 200 Meter Dash when Shantela Davis finished in eighth place with a time of 25.95.
Kennesaw State will next compete in the 2007 Atlantic Sun Conference Indoor Track Championships on February 16-17 in Johnson City, Tenn.
