In the third and final game Kennesaw State held tough and even managed to gain a 7-6 lead after a service ace from Lindsey Plotner. The momentum would not last, however, as Kent State put together an 10-2 run to take a 16-9 lead, one from which the Owls could not recover.
Kennesaw State will return to the court as they take on Valparaiso later this afternoon.
