About Pinetree Country Club
Pinetree Country Club serves as the home course for both the Kennesaw State men's and women's golf teams. Opened in 1962, Pinetree Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course that has long been regarded as one the finest private golf courses in Georgia.

Pinetree's sublime parkland beauty and challenging layout attracted the Georgia State Amateur Championship in 1976, 1985, 2003 and most recently the 2013 Championship. The club also hosted the 2014 Georgia Open as well as numerous qualifiers for Georgia and U.S. Amateur Championships.

Over the years, the course has welcomed such legends as Arnold Palmer, Bobby Jones, Sam Snead and Tommy Aaron. After working as a golf assistant at Pinetree Country Club, Kennesaw native and KSU alum Larry Nelson went on to a Hall of Fame career, winning the U.S. Open and twice capturing the PGA Championship.

Following a major renovation, Pinetree Country Club re-opened in October 2008 as a par-72, 7,108-yard championship course.

The Kennesaw State men's golf team has hosted the Pinetree Intercollegiagte each fall since 2012 and the women's team began hosting the Pinetree Women's Collegiate in the spring of 2016.
