BOSTON — Four Owls opened their indoor season Saturday at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, highlighted by a school record in the men's 5,000 meters.
Brian Limo set a Kennesaw State record in the men's 5K, placing 97th in 14:04.46 He was followed by Collins Kipkemboi, who finished 117th in 14:09.79.
Emma Sullivan placed second in the elite 800-meter race, clocking 2:03.68 in a field of eight.
Britney Chatfield opened the morning with a win in the 800, posting a time of 2:08.49.

Kennesaw State is idle until 2026. The Owls return to action at the Samford Invite and Open and the Vanderbilt Invite, scheduled for Jan. 16–17.
