KENNESAW, Ga. – Olivia Brown and Sarah Hendrick earned a pair of ASUN Conference weekly awards the conference announced on Wednesday (Feb. 19).
Brown was named ASUN Freshman of the Week for the second time this season. She ran times of 8.55 in the prelims and 8.59 in the semifinals in the 60m hurdles finishing second in both races at the Bulldog Invite #2.
Hendrick broke her previous school record in the 800m. The sophomore finished 13
th in a time of 2:06.48 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. That time leads the ASUN by .24 seconds and ranks 26
th in the NCAA this season. This is her second time capturing the ASUN Track Athlete of the Week award this season.
The Owls will head to Lynchburg, Va. for the ASUN Championships on Friday-Saturday (Feb. 28-29) at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
