KENNESAW, Ga. –
Jordan Gray was named ASUN Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday (Jan.23). Gray was recognized for her strong performance at the Samford Multi Event.
Gray won the pentathlon at the Samford Multi Event scoring 4218 points. That total ranks first in the NCAA and ASUN is No.3 in the world currently. In the field events in the pentathlon, Gray won the long jump with a leap of 6.00m (19' 8.25") and the shot put with a toss of 13.42m (44' 0.5"). She took second in the high jump clearing 1.71m (5' 7.25"). This is her fourth ASUN Field Athlete of the Week award.
The Owls will travel to Lynchburg, Virginia to participate in the Liberty Kickoff January 25-26.
