The Kennesaw State women's soccer team returns to Fifth Third Bank Stadium this weekend for a pair of ASUN Conference matches.
The Owls (5-5-3, 0-2-1) will host Jacksonville on Friday (Oct. 6) beginning at 5 p.m. and conclude the weekend with a 1 p.m. contest against North Florida on Sunday.
Friday's contest against Jacksonville will be a Gold Out Game and gold replica jersey t-shirts will be distributed to the first 200 students entering the stadium. The team will also conduct an autograph session following both Friday and Sunday's matches.
With five shutouts thus far this season, Kennesaw State is one shutout shy of equaling its season total from a year ago. The program single-season record is 13 set in 2002.
Kennesaw State is seeking its first ASUN Conference win of the season after opening conference play with a 0-2-1 record.

Week in Review
Kennesaw State fell 3-0 to Stetson Friday in DeLand, Fla. After a scoreless first half, the Hatters scored three second-half goals to post the victory. Stetson scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute after Adrianna Suarez received a cross from Sarah Collins and found an opening on the left side of the goal. The Hatters scored again in the 67th and 83rd minutes to cap the scoring.
The Owls were unable to overcome an early 2-0 deficit and fell 3-0 to defending ASUN Conference champion Florida Gulf Coast Sunday in Fort Myers, Fla. The Eagles took control early, scoring twice in the first 13 minutes to take a 2-0 lead and capped the scoring with a goal in the 29th minute.
• The Dolphins are currently 3-6-0 overall and 1-1-0 in ASUN Conference play. Jacksonville is coming off a 1-0 victory over NJIT on Friday. Senior forward Joëlle d'Entremont leads the Dolphins with five points (2 goals, 1 assist).
Series Versus Jacksonville
Kennesaw State leads the all-time series, 11-7. The Owls have won two straight in the series with both victories coming last year. KSU recorded a 2-1 overtime victory in Jacksonville before posting a 4-1 win in the quarterfinals of the ASUN Tournament at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Scouting North Florida
The Ospreys enter the weekend with an 8-3-0 overall record, including a 2-1-0 mark in ASUN Conference play. North Florida is coming off a 1-0 double overtime victory NJIT on Monday. Freshman Thais Reiss tops the Ospreys with 11 points (5 goals, 1 assist).

Kennesaw State leads the all-time series, 12-3-1. The Owls have won the last two meetings, including a 2-1 victory last season in Jacksonville.

Kennesaw State will close out its regular season home schedule next Saturday (Oct. 14) when it hosts NJIT at Fifth Third Bank Stadium beginning at noon. It will also mark Senior Day as six seniors will be recognized prior to the match.
