The Kennesaw State football team wrapped up its fourth day of training camp with its second straight practice in shells on Tuesday (Aug. 4). The Owls continue preparations for their inaugural game at East Tennessee State on Sept. 3.

Head coach Brian Bohannon will put his team through its first practice in full pads on Wednesday (Aug. 5) when Kennesaw State takes to the field for an afternoon practice at The Perch. The initial full-padded workout will be followed by the first two-a-day practice on Thursday (Aug. 6). The Owls will go through a morning workout at 9:25 before coming back later in the day for a 5:10 p.m. practice.

Monday, Aug. 3 -- Football Camp Notebook (Day 3)

The Kennesaw State football team moved another day closer to making history after completing Day 3 of training camp following a two-hour practice on Monday (Aug. 3) at The Perch. The Owls are working toward their program debut on Sept. 3 when they visit East Tennessee State in Johnson City, Tenn.

Head coach Brian Bohannon and the coaching staff continued the process of installation on all three phases of the game - offense, defense and special teams - as well as working on the fundamentals for each position.

It marked the first day in shells, and the Owls will have one more practice in shells before putting on full pads for the first time.

The Kennesaw State football team completed its second day of training camp on Sunday (Aug. 2) as it continues preparations for the opening of its inaugural season at East Tennessee State on Sept. 3.The Owls went through an efficient and fast-paced two-hour practice at The Perch and will don shoulder pads for the first time this year on Monday (Aug. 3). Redshirt senior wide receiver PJ Stone and redshirt junior linebacker Johnny Yoder shared their impressions of Day 2's practice.

The countdown to the start of the inaugural Kennesaw State football season officially got underway on Saturday (Aug. 1) when head coach Brian Bohannon ran his team through a two-hour practice on a typical hot Georgia August afternoon. The workout marked the first of 29 practices before the Owls make their debut on Sept. 3 when they visit East Tennessee State in Johnson City, Tenn.






Friday, July 31 -- Owls Insight (Podcast)
The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics would like to announce the official launch of Owls Insight, a weekly podcast show bringing you up close and personal with coaches and players for the 2015 season. KSU Owls Radio --the voices of Kennesaw State Football-- will be your weekly hosts of Owls Insight as Brian Giffin (Play-by-Play), Tutan Reyes (Color Analyst) and Art Eckman (Sideline Reporter) will be telling the stories behind the story throughout the season!

Owls Insight hosts Reyes and Eckman recently sat down with junior redshirt quarterback Trey White and head coach Brian Bohannonfor its debut episode.KSU is set for a historic fall season as the Owls kick off their inaugural football campaign at East Tennessee State on Sept. 3. KSU will play six home games at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in front of you, the fans! Led byBohannon, the Owls will host Edward Waters intheir first home game on Sept. 12, in what will mark a momentous moment for the Kennesaw State University.

Big South Media Day featuring Head Coach Brian Bohannon and Trey White


Wednesday/Thursday, July 29-30 -- Big South Media Day
The Kennesaw State football team took part in Big South Media Day last week (July 29-30) at the College Football Hall of Fame and the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria Hotel, and the event proved to be a success! KSU players Trey White and Taylor Henkle joined head coach Brian Bohannon in the two-day event. A self-guided tour, followed by multiple interviews and a dinner at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta kicked off the annual event. Kennesaw State then followed Wednesday's events the next morning at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest with a full day of interviews with local media outlets, including 680 The Fan, ESPN3, Atlanta Journal Constitution and many, many more!
