KENNESAW, Ga. – Junior outfielder Taylor Allum has been named ASUN Player of the Week after producing impressive numbers at the plate last week, announced by the league office on Monday (March 6) afternoon.

Allum, a Grayson, Ga., native, produced in a big way offensively during the Owls' 2-2 week. The left-handed hitter totaled hits in all four games, with three of them being multi-hit games. Allum went 8-for-12 (.667) at the dish, driving in seven RBI and totaled two home runs and four runs scored. He slugged 1.167 and totaled an on-base percentage of .750.

His week began with a 2-for-3 performance on the road at Georgia, totaling a home run and two RBI. His big day at the plate helped Kennesaw State knock off the Bulldogs at Foley Field, 5-4. Allum then followed with a big weekend at Middle Tennessee, going 6-for-9 (.667) with five RBI, a home run, and three runs scored. His four RBI day on Saturday marked a new career high. Allum enters the new week on a five-game hitting streak and has tallied at least one hit in eight of his 10 starts.

Kennesaw State (6-5) continues their non-conference slate with back-to-back midweeks against Power 5 opponents #19 Georgia Tech and Auburn. The Owls welcome GT to Stillwell Stadium for a tilt on ESPN3, before trekking to Auburn for a 6 p.m. affair on SEC Network Plus.
