After defeating Samford in the first round of the FCS Playoffs, the Owls advance to the second round to face the third-seeded Jacksonville State, marking the first meeting between the two programs in history. The Gamecocks are currently 10-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play during the season and will face the Owls Saturday with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs.
