KENNESAW, Ga., -- The Department of Athletics and Kennesaw State Football has announced its plans for the annual Student Appreciation Day Saturday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium, with special promotion items offered throughout the day.
Partnered with University Dining, KSU students have the unique opportunity to use one meal plan swipe, $9.75 Dining Dollars or credit card ($12.75) for a meal service provided during the game. Offered to current KSU students only, the meal service opens at 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. on the main concourse inside of Gate G.

- Saturday, Nov. 18 | Fifth Third Bank Stadium
- Support KSU's football team as they play Monmouth in a winner take all showdown for the Big South Conference Championship.
- Student tickets for the game are FREE!
- Meal Service, 12:30 – 5 p.m. | KSU Students Only
- One Meal Plan Swipe, $9.75 Dining Dollars or $12.75 credit card
GAMEDAY TIMELINE
- Tailgate Opens: 9:00 a.m.
- Fan Zone: 11:00 a.m.
- Gates: 12:30 p.m.
- Kick Off: 2:00 p.m.
In addition, the first 1,000 students will have a special opportunity to receive a replica "Turnover Plank" inside the student entrance. The Plank is based off the cartoon Ed, Edd n Eddy and is awarded and used to help celebrate turnovers. Players that have received the Plank recently are

Tonarius Portress and
Jace White.
Saturday's festivities also include a version of "Beat The Freeze", a promotion created by Racetrac, in conjunction with the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park in 2017, during halftime as one lucky student will have the opportunity to race The Freeze.
Kennesaw State's events includes recognizing 14 student-athletes on Senior Day, celebrating their storied careers in The Nest. The celebration also includes recognizing support staff and The Marching Owls.
The Big South Conference Championship is up for grabs as No. 21 Kennesaw State (9-1,4-0) hosts No. 22 Monmouth (9-1, 4-0) at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in a winner take all showdown in The Nest. The Owls enter Saturday with a program-best nine-game winning streak, while the Hawks enter with a seven-game winning streak. The Battle of the Birds is scheduled to kickoff at 2 p.m. on ESPN3. The game can also be heard on ESPN Radio 1230 and 106.3.
