Last week, Kennesaw State fans voted on their favorite moments from the 2015-16 season. Nearly 1,000 votes were cast, and checking in at No. 8 on the countdown is the success enjoyed on the course by both the men's and women's golf teams. The men claimed the ASUN Conference team championship, while freshman Clara Aveling won the ASUN individual title.



Golf Teams Enjoy ASUN Success
Champions were crowned in both men's and women's golf during the 2015-16 season. Bryant Odom's men's squad claimed the conference tournament championship and freshman Clara Aveling won the women's individual title. For the men, it was the program's second ASUN championship and clinched their seventh consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Aveling became the second Owl in as many seasons, and third overall, to win medalist honors at the ASUN women's championship.
