Previewing the Paladins in 2016
Furman and Kennesaw State meet for the first time in school history at the Paladin Stadium in Greenville on Saturday, October 1. Returning for the Paladins is QB Reese Hannon, who threw for 1,409 yards and six touchdowns, along with WR Andrej Suttles (621 yards and four touchdowns). On the defensive side, linebacker Carl Rider who totaled 105 tackles and one interception will be returning, as is Trey Robinson who was third in tackles last season with 68, along with four interceptions. This season marks the first of two scheduled meetings versus Furman, with the Paladins visiting Fifth Third Bank Stadium in 2019.
