KENNESAW, Ga. - Sophomore men's track and field standout Martynas Sedys is set to compete at the Lithuanian National Championships in the hammer throw this Friday, July 26, at 4 p.m. ET.
Â
"He has experience competing at the National level after competing for his country at Junior Nationals, and now he's competing at the Senior National Champhionships," Assistant Coach Duane Morris said. "His training has been going well, and we're excited to see how he does."
Â
Sedys was invited by Lithuania to compete at Nationals because of the marks he achieved during his successful freshman season at Kennesaw State.
During his freshman year, Sedys won the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship in the hammer with a distance of 62.55 meters.
