MACON, Ga. –
The Atlantic Sun Conference honored Michelle Quimby, Ryan Burruss and Rasmus Rooks of the Kennesaw State track and field program as 2013 A-Sun Academic All-Conference team selections on Tuesday morning.

The A-Sun introduced the new sport-by-sport Academic All-Conference teams in the 2011-12 academic year to recognize student-athletes who embody the conference’s mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative GPA or better and participated in at least half of their team’s games.

“I am extremely proud of what these three have accomplished. To win an academic award, it shows your true work ethic to achieve success both in competition and in the classroom,” Head Coach Andy Eggerth said. “What these three have accomplished on the track, in the classroom and in the community is commendable, and I have a high level of respect for all of them.”
