KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team is set to start the 2013 dual season, as the Owls host a pair of matches this season at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.
KSU opens with Nicholls State on Saturday, Feb. 9, followed by Georgia Southern on Sunday, Feb. 10. Both matches are slated to begin at Noon ET.
The Owls return five players from a season ago, including seniors
Gianni Kubin and
Gokalp Ozdemir, as well as sophomores
Matthew Johnson, Alexander Pena and
Louis Theodor.
Along with the returnees, freshmen
Tobi Menhofer,
Jorge Wilton and
Maksim Yorsh and senior
Nathan She join the roster for the Owls in 2012-13.
Kennesaw State looks to improve on a 10-13 season and will be tested with a challenging season that includes several teams that are ranked in the top 75 of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
