BATON ROUGE, La. – Posting the second lowest score of the day, the Kennesaw State men's golf team carded a final-round 2-over par 290 and moved up two places in the team standings to finish third at the David Toms Intercollegiate that concluded Sunday at the par-72, 7,578-yard University Club in Baton Rouge, La.
The Owls completed the 54-hole, 12-team event at 16-over par 880 to place 20 strokes behind Southeastern Louisiana, which won the tournament with a 4-under par 860. Iowa State posted a closing-round 4-under par 284 to finish second at 12-over par 876.
"I am very pleased with our progress this week and at this point in the season. We played better each round and we really played well the last 36 holes," head coach #Jay Moseley said. "To not have anyone shoot over 75 the last two rounds really demonstrate how consistent and deep our team is right now."

"I am very proud of Teremoana this week for his first top 10 finish," Moseley said. "He has been working extremely hard, along with everyone on our team."
Junior
Jimmy Beck (Columbus, Ga./Columbus HS) recorded a final-round even par 72 to tie for 13th at 3-over par 219. Junior

"We know we have a talented team so we are just going to keep working towards our goals," Moseley said.
