Louiville, Ky. – Both Kennesaw State cross country teams competed in the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Sophomores Greciana Cooper and Amanda Cope ran their best 5k races of the year as Cooper ran a 19:41.94 and Cope ran a 20:02.12.
"There are several positives that we will take out of this race," head coach Joel Pearson said. Â "I'm so proud of Greciana and Amanda for running so well today. We'll keep working hard for the Atlantic Sun Championship."
Sophomore Andzelika Bobrova was next to cross the line with a time of 20:11.05. Freshman Blair Gelb ran well in the first 5k of her collegiate career with a time of 20:19.84.
Claire Bohrer finished the race with a time of 20:53.02. Paige Tucker ran a 21:04.62, Shelby Wilson ran a 21:16.31, and Lilly Kidane ran a 21:57.85.
Brett Carter ran in the 8k men's race and finished in 28:16.23.
