KENNESAW, Ga. –
The Kennesaw State men’s tennis team will open play in 2013 this weekend when it travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Wake Forest Spring Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Atlantic Coast Conference member Wake Forest, will run from Friday, Jan. 11 to Monday, Jan. 14 at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center.

“It is going to be the first time we take part in one of the spring invitationals,” said Head Coach #T.J. Greggs#. “I feel it is time for us to step up to the next level of competition as we go forth with our goal of competing for an Atlantic Sun Conference championship. We had a solid fall and our players have been working hard to prepare for this experience.”

Along with the Owls, the tournament will include No. 19 Tennessee, No. 66 Wake Forest, Liberty and William & Mary.

Play begins with the opening round of doubles action on Friday morning at 10 a.m. Singles action will follow after the conclusion of doubles.
