KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State baseball team signed five talented Georgia products to National Letters of Intent to join the squad in 2013-14, head coach Mike Sansing announced.
The class consists of five top-1000 prospects according to Perfect Game USA, and four top-500. The group includes two highly touted pitchers, a number one ranked middle infielder, a first baseman and a catcher.

Drew Davis (Roswell HS) – 5’11 170lbs Catcher
- Ranked in the Top 1000 in the nation by Perfect Game
- All-Region 7-AAAAA Selection as a Sophomore and Junior
- Invited to participate in the East Coast Pro Showcase
- Participated in the Underclass All-American Games
- Selected to Team Georgia by the Georgia Dugout Club
Taylor Allum (Grayson HS) – 6’3 - 205lbs -1B
- Ranked in the Top 500 in the nation by Perfect Game
- Perfect Game Underclass All-American High Honorable Mention
- Baseball Scoutz Top 100 in Georgia
- All-Region 8-AAAAA Selection as a Junior
- Gwinnett Dailey Post 1st team All-County
- 1st Team All-County by the Gwinnett Dugout Club
- Selected to Team Georgia by the Georgia Dugout Club
Jordan Ver Steeg (Mount Paran Christian HS) – 6’7 - 200lbs - RHP
- Ranked #37 in Georgia and in Top 500 Nationally by Perfect Game
- Participated in the Perfect Game National Showcase
- Selected to play with Team Georgia by the Georgia Dugout Club
- All-Region 6-A Sectional as a Junior
- Marietta Daily Journal 1st team All-County
- Three year letterman in baseball and basketball
Cornell Nixon (Lassiter HS) – 5’10 - 170lbs - MIF
- Ranked #244 in the Nation and #12 in Georgia by Perfect Game
- Ranked as the #11 Middle Infielder in the Nation and #1 in Georgia by Perfect Game
- Perfect Game Underclass 3rd Team All-American
- Participated in the Perfect Game National Showcase and named to Top Prospect List
- All-State Honorable Mention by ESPN HS Baseball
Chris Erwin (Grayson HS) – 6’0 - 175lbs - LHP
- Ranked in the Top 500 in the Nation by Perfect Game
