Final Results
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Kennesaw State men’s track team continues to break program records at the CrossPlex Track in Birmingham, Ala., at the Birmingham Invitational.
In the men’s heptathlon, Hendrik Themas and Brian Graham both broke the previous school record in the event. Themas (4th place - 4,705) just edged out Graham (5th place - 4,689) as the native of Tallinn, Estonia placed fourth in the shot put (11.99m) and seventh in the long jump (6.16m). Graham’s best finishes in the heptathlon came in the 60m hurdles where he finished first
(8.33 seconds) and third place in the 60m-dash, (7.26).
Freshman Reggie Lewis for the third consecutive meet has set a new KSU record. The native of Albany, Ga., placed second in the 60-meter dash with a program record time of 6.77 seconds.
Senior Anjoun Armaly picked up right where he left off last week as he finished third in the long jump with a distance of 14.32 meters, while Brandon Dwyer placed sixth in the pole vault with a height of 4.30 meters.
The throwers for the Black and Gold will be competing Friday in Johnson City, Tenn., at the Niswonger Collegiate Invitational. The Owls will travel back to Birmingham and the CrossPlex Track on Feb. 10-11 to compete in the Samford Invite-CrossPlex.
