KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men’s and women’s tennis programs will have a fundraiser on Saturday, April 24 at Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries in Kennesaw from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the location on Chastain Road.
Student-athletes from both the men’s and women’s tennis teams will be on hand from 12:30-1:30 p.m. to give the community the opportunity to meet the players and support the teams upon the completion of the first full-fledged Division I campaign.
Every person who eats at Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries during the one-hour period from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on April 24 will have 10 percent of their total bill donated to the tennis program.
“We are excited about this year’s fundraiser,” said Kennesaw State head women’s coach and Director of Tennis Operations Brandon Padgett. “We are thankful for all of the support Five Guys has given us and we are really hoping for a tremendous amount of support from the campus and the community for this event.”
Coaches and student-athletes from the men’s team and the women’s squad will be on hand to meet-and-greet, sign autographs and had out Kennesaw State items and merchandise.
The Owls will be at the location at 600 Chastain Road Northwest beginning at 12:15 p.m. Only meals purchased between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. will have the 10 percent discount validated.
