KENNESAW, Ga.--The Kennesaw State University community is invited to take part in College Colors Day on Friday, September 4th.
College Colors Day, which coincides with "back to school" in many areas of the country and the kick-off of intercollegiate athletics, seeks to celebrate and promote the traditions and spirit that make the college traditions great by encouraging fans, alumni and students to wear apparel of their favorite college throughout the day on Friday, Sept. 4th.
College Colors Day strives to promote higher education in the United States through increased public awareness and celebrates the achievements of colleges and universities, acknowledging their critical and fundamental importance.
As part of the celebration of College Colors Day and College Athletics, the Collegiate Licensing Company and 680 The Fan are hosting an event on Saturday, August 29th from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Smyrna Village Market. Kennesaw State’s very own “Scrappy” will be on hand to take pictures with along with representatives from the KSU Athletic Marketing Department who will be handing out schedule posters & cards and giving out promotional giveaways.
Some easy ways to participate in KSU College Colors Day:
1) Show your KSU spirit by wearing Black and Gold on Friday, September 4th.
2) If you don't have any KSU gear you can pick up official gear at Kennesaw State’s official online store.
