KENNESAW, Ga. - The men's tennis team beat the sun out of bed this morning to pitch in and help out at the Atlanta Beat's first community appearance today, volunteering at their 5k road race and one mile fun run. The event, sponsored by the KSU Foundation, YWCA, and the Atlanta Beat, featured the coaches and players of the Beat, Atlanta's representative in the Women's Professional Soccer League.

LAS VEGAS - Kennesaw State took advantage of all of the opportunities afforded it Friday afternoon and night, scoring 28 runs over two games in earning a doubleheader sweep of Southern Utah, 16-4 and 12-6. Ross Tendler had five hits and four RBIs over the two games.
